I build software for people — and I like it.
Hi, I'm Nazmi. By day I'm an AI engineer at Just After Midnight, where I help teams take AI from impressive demo to dependable platform: retrieval that actually retrieves, evals that catch regressions before customers do, and guardrails that let agents near real systems without anyone holding their breath.
The rest of my time goes to my own products. They're small on purpose, they earn real money from real users, and they keep me honest: every claim I make at work, I've first had to live with in my own systems.
I got here the scenic way: mechanical engineering first, then web development, then product work, now AI. Different materials, same joy — making something that works and handing it to someone who can rely on it.
Away from the keyboard I'm mostly a dad to three, which is the best and hardest product role I've ever held. Say hello if you'd like to work together — or if you just want a second opinion on an AI idea.
