I build software for people, and I like it.
I'm Nazmi. I work as an AI engineer at Just After Midnight, where I help teams take AI past the demo stage: retrieval over their own data, evals that catch regressions early, guardrails so agents can go near real systems without anyone holding their breath.
The rest of my time goes to my own products. They're small on purpose, they earn real money from real users, and they keep me honest: every claim I make at work, I've first had to live with in my own systems.
I got here the scenic way: mechanical engineering first, then web development, then product work, now AI. Different materials, same job — make something that works and hand it to someone who can rely on it.
